Who this policy applies to

RoomCraft is a classroom decor platform designed for teachers and other adults. It is not intended for children to use directly.

RoomCraft currently offers its commercial service to customers in the United States.

At this time, RoomCraft is not designed for users to upload or enter student personal information. Please do not submit student names, rosters, or other student personal information through the platform unless RoomCraft later introduces a feature that specifically asks for it.

If we learn that we received child or student personal information in a way we did not intend to collect, we may delete it.

What we collect

Depending on how you use RoomCraft, we may collect:

• Contact information, such as your name and email address.
• Order and transaction information, such as what you purchased, when you purchased it, and related order history.
• Shipping information, when needed to produce and deliver printed products.
• Account and creation information, including submitted theme requests, saved creations, customization choices, and related product selections.
• Information you send us directly, such as emails, support requests, or other messages.
• Site usage and technical information, such as device, browser, pages visited, general traffic patterns, logs, and similar information used to operate and improve RoomCraft.

How we use information

We use information for normal business purposes, including to:

• operate RoomCraft and provide the services you request,
• process purchases and deliver digital or printed products,
• save account-based creations and maintain purchase history,
• send receipts, order updates, service messages, and support responses,
• improve the site, product experience, and customer support,
• understand usage patterns, troubleshoot issues, and monitor performance,
• prevent fraud, misuse, or abuse, and
• enforce our terms, policies, and other rights.

We may also combine information from different sources, such as account details, order history, support communications, and site activity, to operate and improve RoomCraft.

Accounts, guests, and saved materials

You may be able to browse, create, customize, and purchase through RoomCraft without creating an account.

If you create an account, you may be able to save editable creations and return to them later. If you check out as a guest, you may still be able to view purchased materials or purchase history later, but that does not necessarily mean you will have access to editable saved creation files in the same way an account holder would.

If you create something anonymously and do not create an account or complete a purchase, that information may be kept only temporarily and may be deleted on a shorter timeline.

Payments

Payments are processed through secure third-party payment providers. RoomCraft does not store your full payment card details on its own servers.

Those providers may collect and process payment information as needed to complete your purchase, prevent fraud, and comply with their own legal and security obligations.

Email and marketing

We may send transactional emails when needed to complete your purchase, provide service updates, respond to support requests, or otherwise manage your relationship with RoomCraft.

If you choose to opt in, we may also send promotional emails, product updates, special offers, or similar marketing messages.

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time through the unsubscribe link in those messages. Even if you opt out of marketing emails, we may still send necessary order, account, or service-related communications.

Cookies, analytics, and similar technologies

RoomCraft may use cookies and similar browser storage to keep the site functioning, remember certain preferences, and recognize the same browser across visits for analytics purposes. These tools use pseudonymous browser or session identifiers; they are not intended to identify you by your real-world identity.

RoomCraft may use Google Tag Manager to load and manage Google Analytics for site and marketing measurement. Google Analytics may help us understand page visits, traffic sources, campaign performance, browser and device information, and high-level interactions with the RoomCraft funnel.

We may use first-party browser storage to preserve the first marketing context that brought a browser to RoomCraft, such as recognized UTM campaign parameters, a limited landing-page context, and a sanitized referrer origin. When a RoomCraft Creation begins, we may retain that first-touch snapshot with the Creation so that we can understand how people first discovered RoomCraft. We do not intentionally store unrelated URL query parameters, form contents, or customer identity in that attribution record.

We may use service providers such as PostHog to understand how visitors use the website and RoomCraft creation experience. This may include pages viewed, clicks and navigation, scroll and engagement behavior, creation-stage progress, feature and package interactions, browser and device information, performance or load timing, and error or technical information. We use this information to understand the creation and purchase funnel, improve usability, diagnose performance problems and errors, and improve RoomCraft.

We may use privacy-configured session replay to understand how visitors interact with the service and diagnose usability or technical problems. We configure these tools to mask form inputs and exclude the raw Phase 1 theme field. We do not intentionally send raw theme prompts, names, email addresses, student or roster information, payment information, or other free-form customer content to PostHog analytics or session replay.

These analytics and attribution practices are used for measurement and service improvement. RoomCraft does not currently use them for advertising remarketing, personalized advertising audiences, customer-list matching, or cross-platform advertising identifiers.

RoomCraft may retain your submitted theme request internally when needed to provide the service, support safety and moderation, troubleshoot or diagnose generation failures, and improve RoomCraft. The raw theme request is intentionally excluded from PostHog analytics and session replay.

How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information in limited ways with trusted third-party providers that help us operate RoomCraft, such as providers that support:

• payments,
• storefront or ecommerce operations,
• hosting, infrastructure, or data storage, including Supabase,
• email delivery or customer communications,
• analytics and site operations, and
• printing, production, or fulfillment when a printed order is placed.

Some information may be stored or processed by these providers on our behalf as part of delivering the services RoomCraft offers.

Legal, security, and business protection uses

We may use or disclose information when reasonably needed to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect the rights or safety of RoomCraft or others, investigate fraud or misuse, resolve disputes, troubleshoot technical issues, or enforce our terms and policies.

We may also maintain logs, technical records, and related system information for security, fraud prevention, troubleshooting, and site performance purposes.

Your choices and requests

You may contact RoomCraft to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information.

In some cases, we may need to verify your identity before responding to certain requests. We may also retain information where needed to comply with legal obligations, maintain completed order and business records, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, enforce our terms, or protect RoomCraft and its customers.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, including to provide services, complete orders, maintain account features, support customers, improve the business, comply with legal and accounting obligations, and protect RoomCraft.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information, whether you made a purchase, whether you created an account, and whether the information needs to be kept for legal, business, or security reasons.

De-identified and aggregated information

We may retain and use information that has been de-identified or aggregated so that it can no longer reasonably be linked to you. We may use that information for analytics, product improvement, planning, and other business insights.

Third-party links

RoomCraft may link to third-party websites or platforms, such as social media pages. If you choose to visit those third-party sites or services, their own terms and privacy practices will apply.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to help protect personal information. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

RoomCraft may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will post the updated version here and revise the effective date above.
